Dell Optiplex 270 Memory Problem

Dell Optiplex 270 running Windows Xp Pro only see's 256mb of the 1g of ram installed on the system. After some simple checks and a search on Dell Support I reset the Bios Configurations using the Motherboard Jumper. After reboot Windows now recognizes the full 1g of ram and has been running for a couple of weeks with no problems.

LaCie Big Disk Extreme

LaCie Big Disk Extreme 500g is not being recognized by Dell server running Windows Server 2003. This is after reboot because the system locked up. After a search it seems these drives are prone to failure. It appears that the controller on the drive is intermittently failing. The Western Digital drives were removed and appear to be fully functional. Lacie Big Disk controllers appear to be causing allot of problems but Lacie provides no solutions.
